Your home for competitive gaming at Miami.

Welcome to the Arena

April 29th-30th, 2017
Farmer School of Business, Oxford, Ohio

Welcome, combatants, to the Oxford Arena.

Here you'll test your skills against players from across the region, as you fight in several of the biggest games in esports. League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Hearthstone, Overwatch, and Super Smash Bros 4. This will be the largest event that we've ever held at Miami University, so we hope that you'll join us as we bring the hammer down.

We'll be hosting smaller events and games throughout the event, so stick around with us overnight as we celebrate our amazing community.

Prizes Await The Victor

There will be prizes and more announced soon for each of our five, main tournaments; League of Legends, Hearthstone, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. In addition to these five tournaments, there will be free-entry tournaments for Guilty Gear and Super Smash Bros. 4, as well as smaller giveaways throughout the event.

All costs from attendee tickets will go towards that games prize pool.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What's the Address for the Farmer School of Business
    83 N Patterson Ave, Oxford, OH 45056

  • Where do I park?
Parking at Miami can be difficult at times, but luckily, most spots on campus are open to the public on the weekends. If you need to drop your computer off at the front desk before parking, feel free to.
  • Is this a bring your own computer event?
Yes. Please bring everything you need for your computer to run!
  • Is this a bring your own console event?
If you have a machine that can run Smash Bros. Melee or Smash 4, please consider bringing it so we can get more people playing at once. We also suggest bringing your own controllers if you prefer to use them.
  • I'm a free agent, am I allowed to sign up?
Absolutely, we prefer that groups come as a team, but if you don't have enough people to fill out a team, that's alright too! We'll do our best to accommodate teammate requests, but do realize that we cannot guarantee that you'll be placed on a team with your friends, if the situation arises where we have to separate free agent groups.
  • I have a general question that's not addressed here.
Send an email to gunneraj@miamioh.edu with any other questions you might have.
